This list is a public forum intended for professional debate on issues relating to mental health.

 

Primary Mental Health Care E-list

This list is a public forum intended for mental health nurses and other practitioners working in primary mental health care. Mental health nurses in private practice, those working under the Mental Health Nurse Incentive Program or in primary care can discuss all issues related to clinical practice.

 

Perinatal & Infant Mental Health Nurse eNetwork

The Perinatal & Infant Mental Health Nurse eNetwork aims to link peers for an exchange of information, support and ideas; sharing contact with peers who share perinatal & infant mental health experiences and interests. This public e-Network is not moderated and requires that you register to post to the group.

 

Consultation Liaison Nurse Network - Open Forum

This network is a public forum intended for professional debate on issues relating to CL nursing.

No matter where you live and work, if you're a Mental Health/Psychiatric CL Nurse you are very welcome to join in the discussion.

Aborignal and Torrest Strait Islander Special Interest Group Network

The primary purpose of the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses ATSI Special Interest Group (SIG) is to promote interest in and the development of skills working with people from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background.

Clinical Supervision Special Interest Group Network

This e-list is for discussion of topics related to clinical supervision and also serves as the communication channel for members of the ACMHN Clinical Supervision Special Interest Group

 Membership of this e-list is open to all.  The list is unmoderated in terms of pre-filtering but it is owned and monitored by the ACMHN and the ACMHN's e-list policy (above) and usual rules of email etiquette apply.

Q. How do I subscribe to an e-list?
A. Click on the link to the list to which you wish to subscribe. You'll be taken to the external e-list environment. Enter your email address and click the submit button. You'll be sent a confirmation email with a link you'll need to click to confirm subscription.

Q. How do I unsubscribe from an e-list?
A. Click on the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of an e-list email or go to the e-list environment at http://lists.acmhn.org/wws/lists. In the top left-hand corner of the screen, log in by entering your email address and password. Once logged in,

Q. I don't have a password - where do I get one?
A. Once you are subscribed to an e-list and have confirmed your subscription, go to the e-list environment (http://lists.acmhn.org/wws/lists) and click "First login" in the top left-hand corner of the screen.

Q. I've forgotten my password - how do I recover it?
A. In the e-list environment (http://lists.acmhn.org/wws/lists), click "Lost password" in the top left-hand corner of the screen. Your password will be emailed to you.

Q. How do I post to an e-list?
A. Once you are subscribed, simply enter the e-list email address into the "To:" field in your mail program. The e-list email addresses can be found within the e-list environment (http://lists.acmhn.org/wws/lists).

Q. What happens if I breach the ACMHN's E-list policy?
A. You will receive an email advising you of your breach and clarifying your understanding of the policy. Should the breach be significant or a repeat offence, your subscription to the e-list will be terminated.

Q. Do you have other e-lists, aside from the ones here?
A. Yes. The College has a North Queensland Regional Branch e-list (available at: http://www.acmhn.org/qld-regional-branches.html).
