WHAT IS THE ACMHN PRIMARY MENTAL HEALTH CARE SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP?

Specialist mental health nurses working in primary care collaborate with the community and other health care providers to deliver nursing services in a primary health care environment.

The Australian College of Mental Health Nurses Primary Mental Health Care Special Interest Group (ACMHN PMHC-SIG) promotes development of, and support for mental health nurses who are providing services to the community in a primary care capacity.

The PMHC SIG is supported by an annual conference run by the College, which is a forum for exchanging contemporary views and ideas on issues of common interest in mental health nursing, and to enhance the quality of care delivered.
